Set Up

Usually we are connecting our dinamic mic via XLR cable to the Focusrite.

You'll also connect it to the laptop via USB -> USB Type C cable. Laptop will be the source of power for Focusrite. And you will be able to select Focusrite as a mic in OBS/vMix.

The Buttons Explained

• [1 GAIN wheel] Gain for the left XLR

• [2 GAIN wheel] Gain for the right XLR

• [INST button]

• [AIR button]

• [48V button] this button is usefull when we are using a mic that requires an power. For example, dinamic mics do not need power, but if we are using a small body mic.

• [DIRECT MONITOR button]

• [MONITOR button]

• [small wheel]

• [LINE OUTPUTS plugs] here you can connect a
